Taboola’s SDKs for iOS and Android enable publishers to implement personalized recommendations across their mobile apps. Publishers must not under any circumstance:
- Alter, override, or hijack the recommendations in any manner.
- Place the recommendations in such a way that obstructs the view of the application (such as pop-ups or overlays).
- Place the recommendations in any manner by which users might accidentally click on them. This includes, for example, formatting the recommendations so that they become indistinguishable from other content on the app, or placing them directly beneath the “unlock” feature on mobile lock screens.
- Use deceptive implementation methods to obtain clicks. This includes any attempt to make ads difficult to distinguish from other content on which users are incentivized to click, as well as any form of benefit conferred to users beyond the advertisement, such as compensation or in-app rewards for viewing ads.
